ABOUT THE TEAM
Isabelle Kenyon is a northern poet and the author of This is not a Spectacle, Micro chapbook, The Trees Whispered (Origami Poetry Press) and Digging Holes To Another Continent (Clare Songbirds Publishing House, New York) and Potential (Ghost City Press). She is the editor of Fly on the Wall Press, a socially conscious small press for chapbooks and anthologies.
She was shortlisted for the Streetcake Experimental Writing Prize 2019. Her poems have been published in poetry anthologies by Indigo Dreams Publishing, Verve Poetry Press, and Hedgehog Poetry Press. She has had poems published internationally. Her book reviews, articles and blog posts have been published in various places such as Sabotage Reviews, Literally Darling, Authors Publish, Neon Books, London Grip, Harness magazine and Five Oaks Press.
She has headlined at Cafe Del Nino's spoken word night, Cannock, and has opened Coventry Cathedral's Plum Line Festival. She has performed at Leeds International Festival as part of the 2019 'Sex Tapes' and for Apples and Snakes' 'Deranged Poetesses' 2019.
She is a fierce dog lover and a confessed caffeine addict.
Siem Bruinsma is a Dutch-born literature enthusiast and aspiring poet with a BA in English Language and Culture from the Netherlands and a recently completed Creative Writing MA from the University of Sheffield. She first worked with Fly on the Wall Press on the Planet in Peril anthology as a marketing intern. She is eager to get to know and support contemporary poets writing today.
Hannah is a first class English Literature graduate with experience of writing, editing and translation for a number of organisations in the UK, Spain and Argentina.
Hannah is passionate about the beauty of literature and the power it has inspire new ideas and perspectives. She enjoys spoken poetry nights in Manchester and learning languages through music and literature.
She is very excited to be a part of Fly on the Wall!
