WeArtFriends Launches International Poetry Competition
WeArtFriends have launched their first international poetry competition! I am pleased to announce that I will judge the competition along with 5 other exciting poets.
Some details:
Poems can be on any subject, in any style or form.
You do not have to be a published poet to enter.
There is no limit of entries a single entrant can enter.
All entries are judged anonymously.
If your entry has been longlisted or shortlisted in other competitions, but it has not won a prize, it is eligible for the WeArtFriends Poetry Tournament Prize.
Simultaneous submissions are allowed but will become ineligible if they win a prize or are published prior to the date the results are announced; entry fees will not be refunded. You must inform WeArtFriends immediately if your entry is published or wins a prize elsewhere.
WeArtFriends will award the following prizes:
First prize:
1. Included in WeArtFriends anthology with 20 poems+ winner paperback copy + winner kindle copy
2. Author featured and poem published in the doorway to art magazine
3. A designated section on WeArtFriends for the author and 3 months advertising
Second prize:
1. Included in WeArtFriends anthology with 10 poems + winner kindle copy
2. A designated section on WeArtFriends for the author and 2 months advertising
Third prize:
1. Included in WeArtFriends anthology with 5 poems
2. A designated section on WeArtFriends for the author and 1 month advertising
Runners up will be included in the WeArtFriends anthology. All included in the anthology will get a pdf.
WeArtFriends reserves the right to amend these rules where it is deemed necessary to do so. Any changes to the rules will be posted on the WeArtFriends website www.we-art-friends.com
All entries must be submitted by 12 midnight (UK time) on Monday 21st May 2018.
