Biographies


Amanda N. Butler is the author of multiple chapbooks from Dancing Girl Press and Origami Poems Project. She is the third Poet Laureate of Oldsmar, FL.


Attracta Fahy was the October winner in Irish Times; New Irish Writing 2019 and long listed in 2019, shortlisted for Allingham Poetry Prize 2019. Her debut chapbook is published by Fly on the Wall Poetry.


Cara Viola is a freelance writer, editor and translator living in Luxembourg. Her novel, ‘Midnights in Marble’ (work in progress) was shortlisted in the Cinnamon Press Pencil Prize 2019.


Carl Griffin is from Swansea, South Wales, and his first collection,Throat of Haw-thorn, won the Geoff Stevens Memorial Prize and was published by Indigo Dreams Publishing. 


Ceinwen E Cariad Haydon lives near Newcastle upon Tyne and writes short stories and poetry. Her first chapbook was published in 2019: ‘Cerddi Bach’ [Little Poems] by Hedgehog Press. Her first pamphlet is due to be published 2019/20. 


Guy Elston is an EFL teacher and poet who lives in the Wirral. In the past year his poetry has been included by Anthropocene, Atrium, Burning House Press, Re-Side, Unbroken and others. 


Hannah Hodgson is a 22-year-old poet living with life limiting illness. She writes about her Hospice use, disability and family life. Her website is www.hannahhodgson. com/published


Jenny Mitchell is joint winner of the Geoff Stevens Memorial Poetry Prize. A debut collection, Her Lost Language, (Indigo Dreams Publishing), was Poetry Kit Book of the Month, November 2019.

Justin Aylward is a writer from Dublin, Ireland. In the past he has been published as a poet for Shoe Music Press, literary magazine. His short story Charlotte’s Portrait was published by fairlight books in 2018.

 

Karin Molde feels at home in Germany, Ireland and Tanzania. She is a teacher of German and English and has published in magazines like The Honest Ulsterman, Light Journal for Photography and Poetry, and in anthologies.


K. S. Moore’s poetry has recently appeared in New Welsh Review, Ink, Sweat and Tears, The Bangor Literary Journal, Anthropocene, Boyne Berries and The Stinging Fly.  K. S. Moore blogs at ksmoore.com. 

 

Laura-Blaise McDowell holds an MA in Creative Writing from University Col-lege Dublin. Her work has appeared in a number of publications, most recently in Still Worlds Turning, an anthology of new Irish writing from No Alibis Press. 


Lucy Crispin is a former Poet Laureate of South Cumbria and has been published widely in print and online, most recently in Channel, The Blue Nib, Black Bough, The Friend, Poetry Birmingham and Anthropocene. 


Maeve McKenna lives in Sligo, Ireland. Her poetry has been long and short listed in Over the Edge, iYeats, Francis Ledwidge, Trim and Redline. Her work has been pub-lished in The Cormorant, The Galway Review and Sonder Magazine.


Matthew M.C. Smith is a Welsh poet from Swansea. He is published in journals, such as Anti-Heroin Chic, Seventh Quarry Press, Wellington Street Review, Back Story, Other Terrain, Wales Haiku Journal and Fevers of the Mind. @MatthewMCSmith FB: @MattMCSmith  


Morag Anderson lives in Highland Perthshire, Scotland. She was shortlisted for the Bridport Poetry Prize 2019, won the Clochoderick Poetry Prize 2018, and the Over The Edge New Poet of 2018. Her work has appeared in Popshot, Skylight47, The Scots-man, Nutmeg, and several anthologies.


Niall M Oliver is an Irish writer who has recently returned home with his wife and two boys after a decade living in London. His poems have previously featured in The Honest Ulsterman, Ink Sweat & Tears, Black Bough Poetry and a few others. 

 

Nicola Heaney is a Northern Irish writer and poet now based in Bristol via Scotland and Spain. Her work has been shortlisted for the Bridport Prize and appeared in various publications such as The North magazine, the Honest Ulsterman and Poetry Birmingham.


Peter Raynard is the editor of Proletarian Poetry (www.proletarianpoetry.com) and a member of Malika’s Poetry Kitchen. His two books of poetry are ‘Precarious’ (Smokestack Books), and The Combination: a poetic coupling of the Communist Manifesto (Culture Matters) both in 2018. 


Rupert Locke is a teacher and poet based in Galway.  His poetry can be found online at ‘Pica-roon’, ‘Nine Muses Poetry’ and ‘Ink, Sweat and Tears’ as well as in print in ‘Sarasvati’.  He has also appeared in ‘Planet in Peril’ by Fly on the Wall Press. 


Stephen Kingsnorth (Cambridge M.A., English & Religious Studies), retired to Wales from ministry in the Methodist Church, has had pieces accepted by over a dozen on-line poetry sites; and Gold Dust & Vita Brevis Anthology. 


Sven Kretzschmar hails from Southwest Germany. His poetry was published most recently in Ropes, The Bangor Literary Journal, and Sheila-Na-Gig, and Smithereens Literary Magazine, in Writing Home (Dedalus Press, 2019) and Turangalîla-Palestine (Dairbhre, 2019). 


Swara Shukla is a Creative Writing graduate from University of Glasgow, Scotland. Her short stories have been published in Scotland-based magazine Gutter, and in anthologies by Federation of Writers (Scotland) and Nottingham-based publisher Escaped Ink Press. 


Tim Kiely is a criminal barrister and poet based in London. His work has appeared in ‘South Bank Poetry’, ‘Lunar Poetry’, ‘Under the Radar’ and ‘Magma’, and he has had commended entries in both thee 2019 Gingko Prize for Ecopoetry and the 2020 Verve Poetry Festival Competition


Z. D. Dicks has been accepted by ‘Obsessed with Pipework’, ‘Sarasvati’, ‘Ink, Sweat and Tears’,
