Climate Communicator of the Year - People's Choice Award

Important announcement!

As you may know, (or now know!), Planet in Peril has had five failed Arts Council England applications, despite an acknowledgement of the quality of the project. Climate Outreach has launched their first year of Climate Communication Awards and this is an incredibly important opportunity for us to ask you to nominate Planet in Peril for a People's Choice Award below.

Planet in Peril will be visiting six cities around the UK to launch the book, free events which include spoken word performances, talks from the Green party and leading researchers in climate change research and which asked the public to document or perform their responses to the event and the global warming crisis. The book combines art, poetry, photography and climate change research into one sustainably printed quality hardback, fundraising for WWF UK and The Climate Coalition, and will go on to give a series of workshops freely given to schools. If you feel that this project is an excellent example of climate change communication through a new medium, then I would be insanely grateful if you would fill out this nomination form for the People's Choice Award. This could be much needed funding to support our work in schools and around the UK and would acknowledge our blood sweat and tears so far over the past year to get our biggest project to date up on its feet!
